End 2018 on a Positive Note! | Sandi Parkey Pink Zebra Independent Consultant

Celebrate good times, come on!

We're all looking forward to starting a new year soon enough. But how are you planning on sending out 2018?

End the Year With a Smile

Chances are that your year has had a lot of ups and downs. That is just a part of life. However, no matter how many obstacles you have come across in 2018, you have a learned a lot of lessons that you can take with you into 2019.

Let's take a look at some ways you can send out this year on a positive note!

Stay Focused

The holidays and end-of-year tasks can get to be a lot, which can make you feel more frazzled than focused.

Therefore, it's important that no matter how crazy the holiday season gets that you maintain your focus. If you need to, write a to-do list every night for the next day and scratch things off the list as you complete them. That way you are sure to get your priorities in order before the end of the year.

Be Flexible

While I just told you to create a list, my next suggestion is to learn how to roll with the punches. No matter how much we plan out our lives, stuff is still going to crop up and get things off course.

When that happens, take a look at the obstacle, figure out a way to overcome it and move forward with the rest of your to-do list.

Remember Yourself

Between your loved ones, your work and other items on your to-do list, it can be easy to put yourself last. Don't!

Make it a point to schedule some me-time for yourself every day, especially during the busy holiday season. Whether whether you take a few minutes for a meditation session in the morning or a walk in the evening, set aside some time that's just for you. Your health—and sanity—will thank you!
